Coloradans who are hungry are getting what they want from Whataburger.
The burger company based in Texas has decided where its next four Colorado stores will be.
This year, Whataburger came back to Colorado for the first time in 20 years. They opened two sites in Colorado Springs in February and September.
The first two restaurants are now open in northeast Colorado Springs at 1310 Interquest Pkwy. and 6140 Dublin Blvd.
The owner of BurgerWorks Colorado, LLC, William Tamminga, said, "We are thrilled to continue to bring Whataburger's signature customized burgers and extensive menu of fresh, bold flavors with a side of extraordinary hospitality and meaningful community engagement."
"We're looking forward to growing and serving this thriving area for many years to come."
In the 1950s, Whataburger started out as a small stand in Corpus Christi, Texas. Since then, it has grown to have more than 900 sites in 14 states.
The chain used to have locations in Colorado, like one on 88th Avenue in Thornton that later became Jim's Burger Haven.
