After 12 years and countless sequels and spinoffs, Fast & Furious is ending. Fast X begins a two-film epic finish.
Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham, Sung Kang, Jordana Brewster, John Cena, Alan Ritchson, Helen Mirren, Brie Larson, Charlize Theron, Nathalie Emmanuel, Cardi B, Rita Moreno, Pete Davidson, and Scott Eastwood all return.
Dante, played by Jason Momoa, is Fast X's most memorable villain. "For the finale of this great saga we wanted to bring in a super interesting and formidable villain," Diesel told Men's Health. “It was crucial to establish the setting where Jason could feel safe to do some amazing work, to flesh out his character in a way that promotes a talent’s creative drive."
Meadow Rain Walker, the daughter of late Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker, will appear in the film. I was one when the first quick was published!" After revealing her movie role on Instagram, Meadow tweeted. "I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris, and more on the monitors. Dad brought me into the fast family. I'm in awe. With those who watched me develop."
Diesel has revealed that while Walker's character was originally given an off-screen happy ending when he was written out of the franchise—Brian O'Conner departed the crew to raise a family with his wife—the final chapter will honor Walker and conclude his tale. "I couldn’t image this saga ending without truly saying goodbye to Brian O’Conner," Diesel told Total Film.
