Eyewitness News This Morning has been co-hosted by anchor Ken Rosato,  

also received an Emmy Award for his coverage of a steam pipe explosion in New York City. 

But now that he's been fired from his job, it's because he allegedly said something inappropriate. 

He reportedly said the statement while off-air, but it was heard "on an open mic" and caused him to be "immediately let go.

Rosato's comment and the precise time it was made are unknown.According to Page Six,  

a different source would only confirm that he was "fired for cause immediately."
