After two hours at the gym, binge-watching Netflix seems like a reward. Avoid this. Light exercise boosts blood flow, mending and recharging your body.
Even if you're going to work, do some mild exercise. Walk around, stretch, and breathe deeply.
After exercises, drink and eat within 20–30 minutes. After a workout, prepare a cooler with nutritious foods to consume in the vehicle or take to work.
For energy, munch on protein, fat, and complex carbs. Low-fat chocolate milk, turkey sandwiches on whole wheat bread, nuts, fruit, and yogurt are good choices.
Why not perform yard maintenance when you come home, sweaty? Mow the yard, pick weeds, shovel snow, or other hard duties.
This may be hard on exhausted muscles, particularly if you're dehydrated or undernourished following your exercise.
