In the midst of their protracted divorce dispute, Kevin Costner has provided his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner with a fresh deadline for moving out of the property where they previously lived.
According to reports, the Yellowstone actor stated that Baumgartner was “[grasping] at straws with one baseless argument after another” when attempting to justify why she should be allowed to continue residing at the California home.

It comes after Baumgartner was quoted as saying that she would leave the beachside property by the 31st of August as long as Costner agrees to offer further financial support as the court determines.
After filing for divorce at the beginning of May, the handbag designer requested that the judge order Costner to pay a total of 248,000 dollars each month in child support for their three children.
She said that the sum is “less than the amount needed to maintain the children in their accustomed lifestyle.” In addition, she is seeking that the Bodyguard Star pay one hundred percent of the children’s private school tuition fees and healthcare expenditures.
It has been claimed that the sum Baumgartner is demanding is more than six times the amount that Costner gave, which was 38,000 dollars per month. Both sides want shared custody of the children, but Costner believes the amount his ex-wife is asking for is “inflated,” while she maintains that the money would help her establish a “suitable separate household” for the children.
Additionally, Costner has asserted that Baumgartner was expected to leave the household within a month of the divorce petition being filed, as stipulated by the prenuptial agreement that the exes had signed. She failed to meet the deadline and has continued to reside in a home that is worth 145 million dollars since then.
Baumgartner “can afford to move,” the legal team for Costner asserted in a fresh brief, adding that the plaintiff “has at her disposal almost $1.5 million in cash to find alternative housing.” Several wonderful properties with four bedrooms and four bathrooms are currently available, and each of these homes is located in close proximity to Kevin’s separate property and… Kevin has made a number of offers to be of assistance to her with her move.

Baumgartner stated in her petition for divorce that the couple had separated on April 11 and cited insurmountable conflicts as the reason for the split. On Wednesday, July 5th, a case management meeting is scheduled to take place with the exes.
