Keanu Reeves has made it clear that he does not believe there will be a fifth John Wick picture.
Fans had high hopes that the fifth installment of the blockbuster franchise, John Wick, would arrive in theaters not long after the release of the fourth film in the series, which was scheduled to take place in March. Moreover, initial indications stated that John Wick 4 and 5 would be shot one after the other.
According to Keanu Reeves, who portrays the main character, “You have to see how the audience responds to what we did.” The fact that other people have enjoyed what we have created is the sole reason we have been given the opportunity to create these movies.
Therefore, I believe that we should hold off until we observe how the audience reacts to it. I really hope that people enjoy it.”
The fourth installment of Chad Stahelski’s action thriller series about a bitter former hitman was delayed in part because of the Covid-19 outbreak and also because of Reeves’ obligations to the Matrix films. The series is about a man who seeks revenge against those who wronged him.
