Winner of the 2023 Travelers Championship held at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut on Sunday, Keegan Bradley is feeling on top of the world right now. Many famous people, such as six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan and New York Jets superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, sent Bradley notes of congratulations following his triumph.
Although Aaron Rodgers is a good buddy of Bradley’s, the New England Patriots will always have his undying allegiance.
It’s Aaron Rodgers. After his victory, Keegan Bradley told Joel Beall of Golf Digest, “That meant a lot, even though he plays for the Jets now.”
Bradley finished the Travelers Championship at 23 under par, three strokes better than runner-ups Brian Harman and Zac Blair. Harman and Blair both shot 20 under par, tying for second place.
Bradley said he heard from a wide variety of famous people, including Aaron Rodgers, Michael Jackson, former Boston Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield, and Baba Booey.
“It’s such a cool—when you get a text from an athlete it hits different because they know what goes into doing something like this and it means a lot,” Bradley said.
Bradley now has two victories in the 2022-23 PGA Tour season after his victory this weekend. In October of last year, he won for the first time in the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP. Bradley has won six times on the PGA Tour thus far in his career.
After Bradley’s victory, Aaron Rodgers’ adrenaline had to be pumping. Motivated Rodgers is always a plus for his squad.
